Do we have to pay the interns?

It depends on the internship duration and is up to you. The traineeship and the experience itself are most important for the participants. However, if you would like to support them with compensation, or refund the travel and/or accommodation expenses, the participants would really appreciate it. Interns who stay longer than six months usually require a stipend to cover their living expenses abroad.

Do we have to pay for your service?

No, you don't. Unlike numerous other international recruitment agencies we are able to offer our services to companies as yours for free.

Do we have to organize accommodation for the intern?

Some of our students find their own accommodation. If they don't, they normally authorize us to find a suitable accommodation for them. However we would really appreciate it if you could provided accommodation for our students or provided assistance in finding a place to live. This of course, is voluntary on your part.

On average, how long do the participants stay?

On average our students stay in their host country between 3 and 6 months. Some applicants decide to stay up to 18 months, depending on their background and the local visa regulations.

How quickly are the students available?

Trainee availability depends on a variety of factors including application processing time and Visa regulations. Some of our students are available on a short notice while other students plan their placement well in advance as it is part of their studies. On average, plan around 3 to 4 months ahead.

What are the students' educational backgrounds?

Our participants have very different backgrounds. They study at various universities worldwide and deal with a variety of subjects, such as Design, Architecture, Law, Construction, Medicine, Media and Communication Science, Water Management, Engineering, Arts, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Agriculture, Translations, Cultural Science, Sociology, to name a few.

What would our responsibilities be?

As a host company, you must offer your intern a qualified position to enable him or her to gain the experiences needed. You also need to provide a supervisor for the time of the internship.

What kind of jobs/projects do we have to offer?

It depends on your needs. Students can perform general internships such as administration work, but are also keen on being involved in special projects and working on their own. What they want is to gain extensive knowledge and practical experience in their field of studies. An internship should be of use for both parties. In addition, it is very important for the interns to be integrated into the company and mentored when necessary.

What happens after we register a vacancy?

We take your vacancies on file and post them on our  website.
Registered students go on our website and search for job types they are interested in. If they find something of interest, they authorize us to contact the appropriate company. Furthermore, our staff will cross-reference your job with the profiles of students we already have in our database.
We will then send you students' profiles and applications.
Once you have reviewed the students' profiles, simply notify us whether you would like to take on a candidate.
We will then inform you about arrival details and arrange all necessary paperwork.

Do we have to provide insurance for the participants?

No, you don’t. We provide our participants with an all-inclusive insurance package. Therefore our interns are completely insured.

What do the students generally expect from a placement in our company?

To learn about the practical approach of their university major within the specific industry sector of your country
To gain intercultural competence
A contact partner with whom they can speak and have questions answered in difficult situations
To get involved in the daily management of a foreign business
To be enabled to work on their own, including their own PC if the position requires PC work
An open-minded atmosphere with good contact between the other team members
Feedback and a testimonial at the end of the placement

How old are the participants?

Our participants are at least 18 years old, have a least the high school diploma, are currently studying or are recent graduates.

Do the participants have work experience?

Most of our participants have gained considerable experience both theoretically and practically.

How well do the participants speak our language?

The majority of our students has been studying English for many years or has spent time abroad. We make sure, that their written and spoken language skills will be adequate for working within your company.

Who is taking care of the working permit/visa for the student?

Either we do take care of the visa applications, or one of our visa partner agencies will provide you with the relevant information and documentation needed.
