Non-Profit Organizations (also known as not-for profit, or NPO) include charities/charitable organizations, trade unions, trade associations, faith based organizations, community organizations, and public art associations. Generally, NPOs assist needy or disadvantaged people, serve the interest of a particular action or issue, or are made-up of individuals with a common goal or pursuit.
